Water Tint - Navy Blue

Water Tint, a dark blue tinting color for model water

A concentrated color from the American maker Woodland Scenics in a bottle with a volume of 59 ml. It is not an opaque paint for models: it is added drop by drop into the pouring and surface media of the same maker and changes their shade without taking away transparency. The dark blue shade corresponds to deep clean water, that is to the open sea, deep lakes and flooded quarries of great depth. The shades of the line follow the standard scale of the color of natural waters.

Use

• Add the color drop by drop into the mixed pouring or surface medium and stir as you go.
• Dose it gradually, as the shade in a layer always grows stronger, but it can no longer be taken away.
• Make a test on a small sample in the same thickness of layer as you plan in the diorama.
• The shades can be mixed with one another and lightened with the white surface agent of the same line.
• Grading proves itself: a darker color into the lower layers, a lighter one toward the surface and toward the shallows by the bank.

Who it is for

For builders of dioramas, layouts and display scenes with water who want to control the color and the transparency of a surface exactly. It will be appreciated above all by ship modelers and by everyone who models the sea and deep sheets of water.

The color is highly concentrated and stains strongly, so protect your working surface and your clothing. Keep out of the reach of children and avoid contact with the eyes.
