600 grit sandpaper (wet) — AK Interactive

A quality modeling sandpaper treated against water for wet sanding. The 600 grit is a medium-fine step: it suits leveling a surface after coarser sanding and serves as a transition to finer grits. The paper is wetted with water, which washes the dust away and keeps the paper from clogging and the surface from roughening.

Use

  • Wet sanding with water, for leveling and smoothing a surface.
  • Leveling filler and glued joints, evening coats of paint out.
  • The medium 600 grit as a transition between coarse and fine sanding.
  • Water reduces the dust and extends the life of the paper.
