This is a water-soluble (watercolor) pencil with a slightly waxy lead, not a paint in a bottle and not a powdered pigment. The white shade serves to brighten edges and to imitate salt and lime blooms, dust, snow or faded areas. It is applied dry like a colored pencil and can then be blended with water or a damp brush.
Modelers and figure painters who want quick and precise light effects without thinning paints will appreciate it. It works best on a matte surface; the finished effect can be fixed with a matte clear coat.
It is not food. Keep out of the reach of children; ventilate when blending with solvent.
