About product

WWII RAF Dark Earth (Mr.Paint)

A pre-thinned lacquer (acrylic lacquer) modeling paint from Mr.Paint intended exclusively for airbrush application. The shade matches the British brown Dark Earth (standard BS 450), which together with dark green formed the upper camouflage of RAF aircraft in the Temperate Land Scheme at the beginning of the Second World War. The paint is ready to spray straight from the bottle, has a fine pigment and good covering power, dries fast and leaves a satin semi-gloss surface. The bottle holds 30 ml.

Use

  • The upper camouflage of RAF aircraft in the Temperate Land Scheme
  • It complements dark green in the two-color pattern of the upper surfaces
  • Applied with an airbrush in thin coats, ideally over a quality primer
  • The camouflage transitions can be sprayed freehand or over a soft mask

Who it is for

For modelers building British RAF aircraft of the Second World War who work with an airbrush and want an accurate brown shade for the upper camouflage. Suitable for plastic, resin and metal.

Nitro-based lacquer product: highly flammable. Use only with an airbrush in a well-ventilated area or in a spray booth, wear a respirator and protect your skin and eyes. Keep out of the reach of children and away from open flame and sources of sparks.
