A Tamiya acrylic modeling paint from the Acrylic Mini range, volume 10 ml. At Tamiya the X designation means a gloss finish (flat shades carry XF), so X-15 dries to a gloss. It is a light green, bright and brightened shade - far lighter than a basic green. The paint is water-thinnable, covers well, flows smoothly and mixes easily with other Tamiya shades. It is a paint, not a kit - it serves to paint a model, nothing is built from it.
Thin it with Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner. The paint can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush. With light shades a light base is especially worth having - over a dark base you will need more coats. Spray thinly and let each coat dry.
Because X-15 dries to a gloss, it makes a good base for decals. On a gloss surface the decal settles without air bubbles and does not silver - so you do not have to give the area a separate gloss coat.
For modelers who need a bright light green for a detail, an accessory or a mixing palette. The 10 ml package is exactly right for that: lighter shades are often used up in small quantities only, so there is no point in a large pot that would just dry out in a drawer.
Use in a well-ventilated area. When airbrushing, protect your airways with a respirator. Keep out of the reach of children.
