Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black (10 ml)

An enamel (synthetic) modeling paint in matte black from the Tamiya Enamel range, in a bottle with a volume of 10 ml. The XF designation places the shade among the matte (flat) colors. Enamel paints hold well on plastic, metal and wood, have a smooth and durable finish and suit brush and airbrush alike.

Use

• applying with a brush and spraying with an airbrush
• thinning with an enamel thinner (for example Tamiya X-20) – for the airbrush roughly 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint
• a matte black as a base shade, for shadows, details and undercoats
• it holds on plastic, metal and wood
• cleaning tools with an enamel thinner

Who it is for

For modelers who work with enamel (synthetic) paints and will appreciate the slower drying that suits blending and soft transitions. Note: never apply lacquer paints over dried enamel paint – they will dissolve it.

An enamel paint – flammable, the fumes are harmful. Use in a well ventilated space, away from open flame and children; respiratory protection and gloves are recommended.
