XF-28 Dark Copper is a flat acrylic metallic Tamiya paint in a 23 ml bottle in a dark copper shade. The XF range is flat and the X range is gloss; this is a water-thinnable acrylic that is thinned with X-20A acrylic thinner for the airbrush. It suits metal components such as engine crankcases, piping and other copper details.

Use

• Applied with a brush or an airbrush, on plastic, resin, wood and other modeling materials
• The metallic pigment settles at the bottom, so stir the paint thoroughly before and during work
• It looks better on a smooth, finely sanded surface
• Metallic paints are harder to overspray and mask, so apply them toward the end of the build
• Thin it with X-20A for the airbrush; it can be washed off with water before it dries
