Tamiya XF-49 Khaki - enamel paint, 10 ml

This is an enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint from the Japanese company Tamiya in the khaki shade Khaki. The XF range designation means a matte (flat) finish. The package volume is 10 ml. The paint covers well, is applied with a brush as well as an airbrush and stays matte once dry, which is typical of military tones.

Use

  • Suitable for plastic, metal and resin models: military vehicles, figures and accessories.
  • Khaki is often used as the basic tone of military equipment and uniforms or as part of earthy camouflage schemes and desert tones.
  • Applied with a brush or an airbrush; for spraying it is thinned with Tamiya X-20 enamel thinner (note: not the acrylic X-20A).
  • The matte surface is a good base for washes, dry-brushing and pigments.
