AK interactive Xtreme Metal Pale Brass

Xtreme Metal Pale Brass is a metallic modeling paint on a lacquer base from AK interactive, ready for airbrushing straight from the bottle. Fine metal micro-pigments create a realistic surface in light brass once dry — a warm, gently yellow metal suited to cartridge cases, fittings, hardware, instrument details and brass details of ships and vehicles. It is neither an acrylic nor an enamel; it is thinned and cleaned with the original thinner and cleaner of the Xtreme range. The paint has high coverage, does not damage plastic and can be clear coated without losing its shine.

Use

• It is applied with an airbrush; stir it thoroughly before use, because the metal pigment settles at the bottom.
• You get the best metallic shine over a smooth gloss base (ideally a black gloss base coat).
• Apply metallic paint at the end — it is harder to mask and to overspray.
• Suitable for brass elements of aircraft, ships, guns and figures.
