Coastal Kits HMS Illustrious Carrier Deck Set (1:72) is a printed display base which faithfully captures the deck of the British aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious. It is not a model but an effective base for displaying a finished model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This printed display base reproduces the deck of the British aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious in 1:72 scale. It is made as a rigid plastic board printed with durable latex ink on laminated matte vinyl, which gives it almost photographic quality and a waterproof, durable surface. The Set form consists of several matching A4 format parts which, once put together, create an extensive continuous deck area.
HMS Illustrious was a British Invincible class aircraft carrier operated by the Royal Navy. Her deck served above all aircraft with vertical or short takeoff and helicopters. The printing on the base captures the characteristic markings, lines and surface of the flight deck.
The base serves as a display base under a finished model of an airplane or a helicopter of matching size. It is enough to lay it on a flat surface; you place the model on it without gluing, or fix it as needed. It also suits photographing models in a realistic setting.
This is a printed display base, not a kit or a model. A model of an airplane or a helicopter is not included in the package.
