Coastal Kits HMS Illustrious aircraft carrier deck, section 1 in 1:144 scale. A printed display base for displaying and photographing a model effectively.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed display base from the British brand Coastal Kits in 1:144 scale. This is not a model or a kit but a finished display base on which you stand your model. The base faithfully captures part of the flight deck of the British aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious including the painted markings and the texture of the surface, so the model gains a realistic background with no need for painting or creating terrain.
HMS Illustrious was a British aircraft carrier in service with the Royal Navy. Her flight deck served for the takeoff and landing of airplanes and is covered with typical stripes, markings and a non-skid surface. Section 1 represents one of the matching parts which can be put together into a longer whole of the deck.
It is enough to lay the base on a flat surface and place a finished model on it. The material is durable, waterproof and matte, so it does not create reflections when photographing. It requires no gluing, painting or scatter material. It can be combined with further sections of the same range.
