The historical figure German DAK Panzer Crew No. 1 1:35 from Alpine Miniatures — a collector's resin figure of a German tank crewman of the Afrikakorps (DAK).
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure in 1:35 scale from Alpine Miniatures, depicting a member of a German tank crew of the Afrikakorps (Deutsches Afrikakorps, DAK) of the Second World War period. It is a single figure for a model tank or a diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The subject is a German tank crewman in the tropical uniform used in the North African theater between 1941 and 1943. The figure is treated factually, with the emphasis on period tropical dress and a natural stance suited to placing it beside an armored vehicle in a desert scene.
This is a multi-part resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove any mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks and lugs off carefully and clean the surfaces with a file or abrasive paper with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any gaps. Apply a thin primer before painting; figures are usually painted with acrylics, oils or enamels, layering the shades step by step and working out the shadows and highlights on the face, the uniform and the equipment.
The resin figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
