Responsibility details are not available.
A model of a particular object of the Czechoslovak border fortifications in 1:1000 scale. ROP o.s. runs this range as a long-term project: the objects come in batches, they keep the same scale and the same treatment, so pieces bought several years apart still fit together. For a collector this means being able to put a continuous line together step by step without worrying about compatibility.
Object K-S 6 belongs to the Kraliky section and carries the cover name U kaplicky, meaning by the chapel. These names are not later nicknames but period designations used during construction in the second half of the 1930s; they referred to a prominent point in the surroundings that identified the structure unambiguously. The 1:1000 range from ROP o.s. covers objects from further sections besides Kraliky, so it is possible to compare how the structures differed according to the terrain.
Anyone collecting several pieces of the range should paint them in batches rather than one at a time. Several objects on a shared palette get the same base and the same wash, the assembly then looks consistent and the work goes faster. Wash and degrease the castings before painting. An airbrush or a spray can in a thin coat works well, with a dry brush a shade lighter on the edges. If you label the models, use a single format of label with the designation of the object and its cover name, because with an assembly of dozens of pieces that quickly pays off. Mount the objects on a board only after the painting is finished.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
