Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit of a figure in 1:12 scale from the Egg Girls Collection range of the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa, release number 06 with the character designation Amy McDonnell in the Army version. This is a figure model, not a kit of hardware. Resin castings call for a different procedure from ordinary injection-molded plastic, so the model is intended rather for experienced modelers. The number of parts and the exact contents of the package are given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Egg Girls Collection is a continuing range of figures that Hasegawa releases alongside its stylized models of hardware. The individual releases are numbered and are distinguished by the name of the character and the variant of dress given in brackets. The 1:12 scale links the range with models of equipment and motorcycles of the same size, so the figures can also be used in scenes.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a few drops of detergent to remove the remains of the mold release agent, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc rather than with pliers, because resin cracks. Sand wet and with respiratory protection, as resin dust must not be inhaled. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); liquid cement for polystyrene does not work here. Apply a thin base coat before painting, which unifies the surface and improves adhesion. Build the skin up by layering very thin glazes, and bring the fabrics out with a darker shade in the folds and a lighter one on the edges. Finally seal it with a matte clear coat and leave the eyes glossy.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
