Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive markings from the Japanese company Tamiya, intended for the bodies of radio-controlled racing trucks in 1:14 scale. It is neither a kit nor a chassis part but an accessory that gives the model its own racing look. The package holds two large sheets with fictional sponsor logos, drivers' names, Tamiya emblems and separate letters and numerals from which you can make up your own starting numbers and lettering.
Racing trucks are typified by colorful markings that cover the large flat surfaces of the cab and the spoiler. The markings are printed on an opaque self-adhesive backing and are applied dry, so they are handled differently from waterslide decals, which are left to soak in water. Because the logos and the names are fictional, you are not tied to any particular original and can create your own team and your own color scheme.
Degrease the surface before applying and let it dry completely, because on a greasy or freshly painted surface a sticker holds only briefly. Cut the individual elements out with a sharp knife close to the outline, so that no transparent edge shows. Lay larger markings down from the center outward and press the air out with a soft cloth; on rounded edges gentle warming helps. Try the layout dry first and only then peel off the backing paper. On a model that runs outdoors it pays to go over the finished markings with an abrasion-resistant clear coat.
This is an accessory, not a model. The body, paints and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
