Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the specialist Aviattic brand with a five-color night lozenge pattern in 1:144 scale in the joined version, in which the strips of the pattern are already joined to one another and ready to be applied to the upper and lower flying surfaces. This is not a kit but decals that solve the most demanding part of building a German machine of the Great War: camouflage from printed fabric.
The lozenge is a polygonal print on the covering fabric of the aircraft of the German air service of the First World War; the five-color night version works with dark, subdued tones for machines on night operations. Where sheets in the full width of the pattern call for cutting and laying the strips yourself, the version with joined strips has the layout prepared, so a strip for a wing is transferred in one piece, which in the tiny 1:144 scale saves a great deal of time and temper and guarantees a parallel, clean join.
Prepare the surface of the model with gloss clear, lay the decal on according to the kit drawings and work with setting solutions so that the covering settles even onto the raised ribs. Trim the overhangs only once it is dry, with a sharp blade. A final matte or semi-matte clear coat evens the surface out and gives the fabric covering an authentic look.
The decals are supplied unapplied. Setting solutions and clear coats are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
