Injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from Amodel. It represents the de Havilland Canada DHC-5 Buffalo in the CC-115 form of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The small scale suits collectors and display collections. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The DHC-5 Buffalo is a Canadian twin-engine turboprop transport with a high-mounted wing and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. The CC-115 version served the Royal Canadian Air Force for tactical transport and later for search and rescue duties as well. The aircraft is valued for its ruggedness and for operating from short, unpaved strips.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and careful cleaning up of the joints. Lay down a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Mask the cockpit and the transparent parts, and the panel lines can be brought out with a fine washable shade.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
