An accessory in 1:144 scale with the Rolls-Royce RB211-535 E4 engine for the left engine position of the Boeing 757.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Rolls-Royce RB211-535 E4 is a turbofan engine associated above all with the Boeing 757. Compared with the more powerful branches of the RB211 range it has a smaller diameter and a shorter nacelle, so it differs from the engines of wide-body aircraft at first glance. The Boeing 757 carries two such engines, one under each half of the wing.
This set in 1:144 scale is intended to replace the engine nacelle on a model of an airliner, and specifically for the left engine position. The nacelles of the two sides are not mirror-identical in every detail, which is why the side is given in the name. If you want to fit both engines, count on needing the matching form for the right side. Before buying, compare the length and diameter of the nacelle with the parts you want to replace.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder with fine paper, so the circular shape of the intake is preserved. Then wash and degrease the parts. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and according to the instructions of the manufacturer. Fit the nacelle dry first and check the angle in relation to the pylon, and only then fix it; an engine seated crookedly is more visible on a finished model than any other detail.
The set is for modelers of airliners in 1:144 scale who are building the Boeing 757 and want more accurate engines. This is an accessory, not a whole model; paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
