This is a universal set of photo-etched railing from the Polish maker Aber in 1:150 scale. It is neither a model nor a kit: it is an aftermarket accessory with fine metal railing with three horizontal bars (the three-bar pattern), intended above all for ship models and harbor dioramas. The photo-etched part replaces coarse plastic railing with a faithful, thin reproduction.
Railing is used to edge decks, bridges, gangways and other margins where a plastic version would look too heavy. The universal strips of railing are cut to the length you need for a particular model.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and bend the railing carefully, so that the bars stay parallel. Glue with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer for metal; spraying the paint with an airbrush before fitting works well.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
