Aber 1:16 Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) Ausf. E/F – the basic set (vol.1) is a photo-etched detail set for refining a large scale model of the German Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds photo-etched parts in thin metal sheet meant to raise the fidelity of a large scale kit of the German Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) light tank in 1:16 scale. It is not a tank model but an accessory for a kit already bought. As the first part (vol.1) it forms the basic set, which further separate sets follow on from. The maker is the Polish firm Aber, a specialist in photo-etched and turned metal detail.
Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) was the German designation of a light tank of Czechoslovak origin (CKD/Praga, the TNH type). After 1939 the Wehrmacht used it in large numbers; the Ausf. E and F versions were given heavier armor. The proven chassis also became the basis of a line of tank destroyers and self-propelled guns.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and bend them in a bending tool or against a rule. For gluing to plastic or metal use cyanoacrylate glue or a special glue for photo-etched metal. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
