The Feifel air cleaner system was an add-on fitting mounted on the early Tiger I, above all for operating in dusty conditions. The pair of cylindrical precleaners at the rear linked by pipework gave the vehicle an unmistakable look and is a typical mark of the early machines, for instance those deployed in North Africa.
