This photo-etched detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds the brackets and stowage for the barrel cleaning rods and the stowage for a spare aerial, for models of the Panther Ausf.G tank and the Jagdpanther tank destroyer. Fine metal parts replace the plastic brackets with more accurate shapes. It is not a model but an accessory.
Panther tanks and Jagdpanther tank destroyers carried a set of rods for cleaning the gun barrel and the stowage for a spare aerial on the hull. These small but prominent items of equipment complete a convincing look for the vehicle and are clearly visible on a large model.
The set will be appreciated by builders of large Panther Ausf.G and Jagdpanther models who want accurate brackets for the equipment on the hull. Working with small photo-etched parts calls for a more experienced modeler.
