Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the Jawa 250 racing motorcycle with twin overhead camshafts (2xOHC) in 1:18 scale from the manufacturer Abrex. The model is supplied fully assembled and painted — it is not a kit and not a toy. The finish matches the machine with race number 4 that the rider Havel started on at the Czechoslovak Grand Prix in Brno in 1961.
The Jawa racing specials with 2xOHC valve gear were at the top of Czechoslovak road racing at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, and the works riders regularly scored on them in the world championship as well. The Czechoslovak Grand Prix on the Brno circuit was the peak of the home season and drew international competition and crowds of hundreds of thousands. The quarter-liter Jawa with its characteristic fairing and low handlebar riding position is to this day a symbol of the golden era of Czech racing machinery.
The model in 1:18 scale is made of metal with plastic details, with the period race number and color scheme. Thanks to its compact size it suits a display case as well as a desk and needs no assembly at all — you just unpack it and put it on display.
A finished collector's model — it is not meant for building. It is not a toy for the youngest children.
