USS Pegasus was the lead ship of the PHM (Patrol, Hydrofoil, Missile) class of hydrofoil missile boats of the US Navy. These fast boats were in service from 1977 to 1993 and stood out for their high speed thanks to the foils, which lifted the hull above the surface under way. They were armed with anti-ship missiles and a gun and were deployed, among other tasks, on coastal patrols in the Caribbean.
Assemble and paint the hull and the superstructure separately, and take care with the fine supporting structures of the foils. Use liquid cement for plastic and a primer. For a naval scheme, matte gray shades suit well, together with a subtle emphasis of the panels and fixing the model on the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
