The real subject is the second generation Honda Odyssey with the factory code RA6 of the 2001 model year, completed with the Geraid aerodynamic package from the Japanese brand Garson. Aoshima has long worked on modified Japanese cars and cars in the VIP style form a separate striking category in its range.
The Honda Odyssey is a Japanese MPV whose second generation came at the close of the 1990s. Compared with European and American vans it had a markedly lower body structure and drove rather like a tall station wagon than like a classic minivan, which made it a popular base for modifications. Garson is a Japanese brand of fittings specialized in the VIP style - that is, in luxurious and striking modifications of large sedans and MPVs, which include widened side skirts, modified bumpers, chrome elements and a richly equipped interior. Geraid is one of its body lines. The result is a family car that comes across as a representative limousine.
Line the aero parts up dry first and only then glue them, and fill any gaps with putty and sand them over. The large flat area of the sides will show every irregularity mercilessly, so prime carefully and apply the color with an airbrush in thin layers. The VIP style stands on a deep gloss - a gloss clear coat with subsequent polishing pays off. Pick out the chrome elements separately with a quality chrome paint or foil. On a car with large glazed areas take care over the cleanliness of the transparent parts and glue them with glue intended for clear plastics. Deal with the wheels and the height of the chassis only at the close.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
