About product

MASTER 1:24 Harrier FRS.1 / FRS.51 – pitot tube and angle-of-attack probe

A set of turned metal parts replaces the plastic sensors on a model of the Harrier in the FRS.1 and FRS.51 versions in 1:24 scale. It contains a pitot tube and an angle-of-attack probe. The metal build is strong, thin-walled and faithful in its dimensions.

The real subject

The Sea Harrier was a British carrier-based aircraft with vertical and short takeoff. The FRS.1 version served with the Royal Navy, the FRS.51 version with the Indian Navy. The forward sensors are among its recognition details.

Use and fitting

Cut off the original plastic sensors and replace them with the metal parts, which are glued with cyanoacrylate into drilled holes. The parts are strong and stand up to being painted together with the model.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of the Sea Harrier FRS.1 and FRS.51 in 1:24 scale
  • Modelers who want a tough metal replacement for plastic
  • Anyone after a faithful build of the sensors

This is a detail part, not a model of the aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
