The set contains two turned metal barrels for the Browning AN/M2 aircraft machine gun of .30 caliber (7.62 mm) in 1:32 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER. It is a more accurate replacement for the plastic barrels from the kit, with truer geometry and a fine muzzle that is hard to achieve on injection-molded plastic.
The Browning AN/M2 of .30 caliber was among the widespread aircraft armament of American and Allied aircraft. The set will replace the plastic barrels with accurate metal parts and suits anywhere a model carries this machine gun – on flexible and fixed guns alike.
Cut the metal barrels off the casting stub, clean them up and fit them in place of the plastic parts. Glue with cyanoacrylate; for a firmer joint a small hole can be drilled in the plastic. Before painting, apply a suitable base coat (primer) to the metal.
This is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory set of replacement barrels. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
