A set of turned metal parts for Skyraider kits in 1:48 scale. According to its name it contains the barrels of the 20 mm cannons fitted with flash hiders and a pitot tube. Mind the choice of variant: in the same scale the manufacturer also lists a set with barrels without flash hiders, so check your references for which form your machine carried.
The Skyraider was a single-engine piston attack aircraft with a large load on its pylons and a long endurance over the battlefield. It had its cannon armament in the wing and used it for years even when jets were already flying around it. A flash hider on the barrel muzzle limited the dazzle of the crew when firing at night and changes the silhouette of the muzzle enough to show on a model.
A flash hider is a shape-heavy little part with thin walls that in injection-molded plastic is practically impossible to render sharply. Turned metal holds a sharp profile and a bore true to its axis. Cut the plastic barrel off as close to the leading edge as possible, so that you do not have to level the surface with filler, and drill the hole for the pin slowly, trying dry how far the part seats. Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate applied in drops with a pin, not straight from the bottle. Degrease the metal before painting, otherwise the coat on the glossy surface will come away during masking.
