An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Skyline GT-R sports car of the R32 generation in 1:24 scale, from Tamiya's Sports Car Series. The model captures the characteristic body with its flared fenders, front spoiler and rear wing. A detailed interior, glazing, chrome and clear light parts and decals are all there. Check the exact contents of the package against the instruction sheet; paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Skyline GT-R name returned to production in the spring of 1989 after sixteen years. The R32 generation received a DOHC inline six with twin turbochargers of around 280 horsepower, all-wheel drive with torque distribution, four-wheel steering and multi-link suspension. In Group A the car then utterly dominated the Japanese touring car championship, where it collected a string of wins and earned the nickname Godzilla.
Spray the body with an airbrush over a thin primer and polish the gloss shade. Detail the engine bay and the interior before closing them up; glue the chrome parts and the lights carefully and mask the glazing. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic joints. Apply the decals over a gloss base and seal them with a varnish compatible with the paint used.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
