Hasegawa 1:24 Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD, 1993 Monte Carlo Rally: a plastic kit of this famous Group A rally car in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD competition car in its specification for the 1993 Monte Carlo Rally in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The model captures a car from the peak era of Group A, when Toyota was one of the most successful teams in the World Rally Championship.
The Celica Turbo 4WD combined a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with all-wheel drive and was one of the dominant cars of the world championship in the first half of the 1990s. At the 1993 Monte Carlo Rally Toyota finished first with this type, the win taken by Didier Auriol, and in the same season Juha Kankkunen won the world title with a Celica. With its mix of dry asphalt, ice and snow, Monte Carlo was the ideal shop window for Toyota's four-wheel-drive cars.
Spray the body over a light primer and give it a gloss coat before applying the decals: the large areas of sponsor markings will then adhere better and will not silver. Work with the decals one at a time, with plenty of water and a softener for the recessed detail. A final coat of gloss clear unifies the surface, while matte and semi-matte shades bring the chassis and the interior with its tubular frame to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
