A plastic kit of the Japanese luxury sedan Toyota Crown in the four-door hardtop Royal Saloon form with a two-liter engine force-fed by a mechanical supercharger, in 1:24 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi. The model captures a representative car of the 1980s with an elegant body with no door frames and generous equipment.
The Toyota Crown is the longest produced model range of the Toyota brand, and in Japan it stood for long years as a symbol of social standing. The Royal Saloon version represented the top equipment level with a comfortable chassis and a luxurious interior. The Super Charger form added a mechanical supercharger to the two-liter inline six-cylinder engine, which gave the heavy sedan a brisker character while keeping its cultivated running.
The body will show to advantage in the dark glossy shades typical of representative sedans, or in classic white. Paint in thin coats over a base and finish with clear coat. Accentuate the chrome trim with silver paint or with foil, and paint the interior in soft light tones. Apply the decals onto a glossy cured surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
