An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the popular car line of the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. It faithfully reproduces the current Toyota GR 86 sports coupe. The package offers a carefully worked engine and chassis, an opening hood and a mask set for painting. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Toyota GR 86 follows on from the popular rear-wheel-drive coupe and brings a 2.4 liter flat-four boxer engine with an output of around 235 horsepower. A low center of gravity, balanced weight distribution and sharp steering make it a rewarding coupe to drive for enthusiasts. The model captures its clean proportions and its interior details.
Paint the body over a primer in layers and seal the gloss with a clear coat; the enclosed masks make sharp transitions easier. Bring out the engine and the chassis with a dark wash and a dry brush. Paint the wheels and the interior separately before the final assembly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
