An injection-molded plastic kit of the hybrid hatchback Toyota Prius in the Touring Selection trim with a panoramic solar roof panel, in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The body, the interior and the chassis are usually molded in white plastic, and matte chrome wheels, rubber tires and decals for the exterior and the interior are included. It is a curbside bodywork kit without engine detail.
The Toyota Prius of the third generation (ZVW30) is an icon of the hybrid drive - it combines a combustion and an electric motor for low consumption and emissions. The trim with the solar panel on the roof charged the ventilation system, which was an unusual technical feature at the time of its introduction. Touring Selection is the more sporting trim with larger wheels.
Spray the body with an airbrush and give it a gloss clear coat for a smooth surface. Glue the glazing and the solar panel with glue for clear parts only at the end. Set the fine interior decals with a decal softener so that they settle onto the shaped surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
