RB model 1:25 turned metal 17 pdr OQF gun barrel for a British tank destroyer is a precise detail accessory for building a military model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a precisely turned metal gun barrel of the British 17-pounder gun (Ordnance Quick-Firing) in 1:25 scale from the manufacturer RB model, in the version for a British tank destroyer. The gun barrel has a faithful profile and a sharp muzzle and replaces the plastic part of the basic kit without any need to clean up mold seams.
The British 17-pounder OQF was a powerful anti-tank gun of the Second World War, able to destroy even the most heavily armored German tanks. It was fitted both on towed carriages and on tank destroyers and converted Allied medium tanks. The long gun barrel with the muzzle brake is its typical feature.
Degrease the metal gun barrel and treat it with a primer for metals before painting. Watch the alignment when fitting it. Metal takes fine sanding and polishing and imitates the steel surface of the weapon faithfully.
The set is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
