A turned metal gun barrel from RB model that replaces the plastic part on a finished model. It is not a model of the tank, but a detail accessory. The metal version guarantees a precisely circular cross section, a clean muzzle and a faithful shape that is hard to achieve in plastic.
The British 75mm Ordnance Quick-Firing (OQF) Mk V gun was the main weapon of the Cromwell cruiser tank. It came about by reboring the proven six-pounder gun so that it fired American 75mm ammunition, which gave it a versatile capability against both vehicles and infantry.
Degrease the part, remove any small burrs and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting, use a metal primer so that the shade and the weathering that follows hold well. Metal resists bending and the muzzle stays precise.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
