Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive HGW masks in 1:32 scale intended for a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5c Zero carrier fighter. The masks speed up and sharpen the masking of the canopy glazing and of other surfaces when spraying paint. It is an aftermarket accessory; the model itself is not included in the package.
The A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War, famous for its long range and its agility. The late A6M5c version received heavier armament and a strengthened structure at the cost of agility, as a response to more capable Allied fighters.
The masks are cut from a thin adhesive film and follow exactly the shape of the frames of the many-framed canopy typical of the Zero. They are stuck onto the glazing, the frame color is sprayed over them and once dry they are taken off, leaving a sharp transition with no bleeding. Apply them to a clean, degreased surface and lay the paint on in several thin coats.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
