Bristol F.2b Fighter – a photo-etched detail set in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW. Brass photo-etch for refining the cockpit and the airframe of the British two-seat fighter aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts for detailing the plastic kit of the British two-seat fighter aircraft Bristol F.2b Fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to be fitted into the matching kit. The photo-etched parts add the fine elements that injection molded plastic cannot render faithfully.
The Bristol F.2b, nicknamed the Brisfit, was a British two-seat fighter and reconnaissance biplane of the First World War. The combination of a sturdy structure, a powerful inline engine and the observer's movable machine gun made it, once the right tactics had been mastered, one of the most successful aircraft of its category. It stayed in service for a number of years after the war as well.
The photo-etched parts replace and complete the elements of the cockpit and the airframe – the instrument panels, the fittings, the straps and other details. Separate the parts from the fret, bend them accurately and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a base for metal.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
