This item is an accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. It contains wheels cast in resin whose tires are shaped with the settling where they touch the ground. The manufacturer is Armory. The number of parts in the package and the rest of its contents are not stated here.
With resin parts, what most often goes wrong is precisely what is invisible. Before casting, the mold is treated with release agent and a thin layer of it remains on the surface of the casting. You cannot tell it by touch, but primer and paint hold badly on it and after a few weeks they start to rub off on the edges. The solution is simple. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, go over them with a soft old brush, rinse and let them dry thoroughly. Only then comes the primer, which on resin also evens out how absorbent the surface is.
Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the surface left by the cut on sanding paper laid on a flat board. Then fit the wheel dry onto the landing gear leg, turn it with the settled part facing down toward the base and check that the model stands without rocking. It is glued with a small amount of cyanoacrylate, as an excess will run into the relief of the hub. Apply the paint in thin coats. At the end a light wash in the recesses of the hub, which draws out the detail, works well.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
