Turned metal probes and a pitot for the F-4 Phantom II (short nose versions) in 1:32 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER, for the F-4B, C, D, J, N, S and the British variants.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal detail set, not an aircraft model. The set holds precisely turned metal nose probes for the short nose variants of the F-4 Phantom II in 1:32 scale, specifically the F-4B, C, D, J, N, S and the British versions. The metal parts replace the plastic parts from the kit, have a more faithful shape, a sharper end and are markedly more durable than thin plastic.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat twin-engine multi-role fighter, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the Cold War. The short nose versions are marked by a shorter nose with a different arrangement of the forward probes, which this set reproduces faithfully.
Cut off the original plastic probes, drill the holes and glue the metal parts in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and coat it with a primer. Sort the small parts out beforehand and work with tweezers.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
