Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-colored photo-etched set of seat belts in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The set reproduces the belts of the Martin-Baker Mk.7A ejection seat in its French form precisely and adds them to the cockpit of a model of the Crusader fighter. This is not an airplane model but a stand-alone detail accessory.
The Vought F-8 Crusader was an American carrier-based fighter; in its E and J versions it also flew with the French Navy. The Martin-Baker Mk.7A seat was a British ejection seat widespread on a range of aircraft, and the French machines had their own particulars in the form of the belts.
Break the parts out with a sharp blade, make the bends over a ruler and form the webbing with light pressure. The etching is fixed with super glue; the buckles come out well after the shadows are picked out carefully. Before gluing, check the shape of the cushion so that the belts follow the shell of the seat faithfully.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts. The airplane model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
