A set of fabric seat belts, 1:32 Felixstowe F.2a and W.29, with photo-etched fittings for faithful cockpits of two aircraft of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings covering the cockpits of the British flying boat Felixstowe F.2a as well as the German floatplane Hansa Brandenburg W.29 in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
The Felixstowe F.2a was a British twin-engined flying boat of the First World War, used to patrol over the North Sea and to fight submarines and airships. The Hansa Brandenburg W.29 was a German monoplane floatplane fighter, its frequent opponent in the same area.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
