A plastic kit of the heavy truck Hino Super Dolphin Profia in 1:32 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. It is the form of the ten-ton flatbed in the variant with aluminum wheels, which give the model the typical shiny look of Japanese long-distance vehicles. The kit contains a detailed cab, the frame with axles and the load area.
The Hino Profia, brought to the market at the beginning of the 1990s under the name Super Dolphin Profia, is the flagship of the Japanese brand Hino Motors in the heavy truck segment. Ten-ton flatbeds of this type formed the backbone of Japanese domestic trucking and were marked out by a roomy tilting cab and a massive radiator grille.
The aluminum wheels will show to advantage in a combination of polishable metallic shades and a fine wash around the nuts. Paint the cab in glossy colors and the frame in matte black. With the large surfaces of the flatbed it pays to spray with an airbrush in thin coats over a primer. Glue the glazing and the mirrors with a glue for clear parts, so that no fogging occurs.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
