The LVG C.VI masking set in 1:32 scale from HGW makes it easier to paint the surfaces of this German two-seat aircraft of the First World War accurately.
Responsibility details are not available.
This self-adhesive masking set in 1:32 scale is intended for a model of the German two-seat aircraft the LVG C.VI of the First World War. It is neither a kit nor paint: these are precisely cut masks that bound off the fields of color and the markings during painting, so that you achieve sharp transitions without laborious work with tape. The HGW brand has long concentrated on masking sets.
The LVG C.VI was a two-seat reconnaissance and observation biplane of the German Luftstreitkräfte of the end of the First World War. It was marked by good endurance and by a pilot and an observer with machine gun armament; it was deployed for reconnaissance, directing artillery fire and light bombing. It is among the best known surviving veterans of that time.
Stick the masks onto perfectly dry, smooth paint. Lay them down with tweezers, press the edges carefully against paint creeping under them and spray in thin layers at right angles to the edge. Once the paint has dried, lift the mask off carefully while the paint is still flexible. Any residues of adhesive can be removed by a gentle polishing.
The masking set does not contain paints or the model. It serves as an aid in painting, unless stated otherwise.
