Brengun He-162 A2 War prizes 1:144 is a plastic kit of the German He 162 jet fighter in the markings of captured aircraft operated by the Allies.
Responsibility details are not available.
This small injection-molded plastic kit from the Czech maker Brengun captures the German Heinkel He 162 jet fighter in 1:144 scale. The War prizes edition (captured aircraft) offers decal options for machines that the Allies captured and tested after the war. The package contains injection-molded plastic parts, decals and instructions.
The Heinkel He 162, nicknamed Salamander or Volksjäger (people's fighter), was a single-engine jet fighter from the very end of the Second World War. It came about in an extremely short time as a cheap and simple aircraft with the jet engine mounted on the spine of the fuselage. It took part in combat only marginally; after the war a number of captured machines reached the Allies for testing.
Given the tiny 1:144 scale, work with a sharp knife, a fine cement for plastic and patience with the small parts. We recommend a base coat of primer, thin layers of paint from an airbrush and careful application of the decals onto a gloss base. Collectors of space-saving collections will appreciate a small model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
