Complete masking of the glazing and the insignia of the last production version of the Messerschmitt, plus a pair of metal barrels for the cowling.
Responsibility details are not available.
The version designated by the letter K was the terminus of the whole development. A weapon of 30 mm caliber, which German armorers nicknamed the pneumatic hammer, was seated in the space between the cylinder banks. It had a ridiculously short barrel and a low muzzle velocity, so the pilot had to go in very close, but a single hit was enough to bring down a four-engine bomber. Against that stood only sixty rounds in the magazine and a high failure rate.
The metal parts in the package, however, belong to the lighter part of the armament. On this version the engine cowling was adorned by a pair of machine guns of 13 mm caliber and above them two bulges, which grew still larger against the older forms and partly merged into the outline of the cowling. The turned barrels will give the model a dark bore of a kind that cannot be made in plastic. The difference is noticeable mainly from the front, where the barrels are seen against the light background of the cowling.
In the box lie sheets for the glazing, divided into the outer and the inner view, and a pair of masks for the national insignia. The recommended kit comes from the Hasegawa brand. The procedure is the usual one: seat the mask on hard paint, run a blunt point over it along the frame and spray in thin coats. A heavy coat tends to decide to leave together with what lies underneath it when it is peeled away.
