This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set contains cast resin landing gear wheels for MiG-21 models in 1:32 scale and is aimed at the late versions (bis, MT, SMT, 93). It replaces the plastic wheels of the basic kit.
Compared with the early machines, the late MiG-21bis versions were given sturdier wheels with a different pattern, so the correct set for this group is essential for fidelity. Resin captures the exact tread pattern, the hub and the axle boss, and the wheels are usually made with a hint of load on the tire. The MiG-21 was a Soviet supersonic fighter with a delta wing and one of the most widespread jet fighters ever built.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer before painting; the tread pattern and the hub will come out after a fine wash.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
