This is a resin detail set of the electronics bay in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit, which refines the open internal compartment with the avionics. The set is intended for more experienced modelers building the MiG-23ML Flogger G who want to present the model with the service panels uncovered.
The MiG-23ML is the lightened fighter version of the Soviet MiG-23 with a variable-geometry wing. Behind the service panels of the fuselage sit the units of the avionics and the electronic equipment, which are accessible to the ground crew in service. A faithfully made bay with castings of the equipment boxes and the wiring allows a striking presentation of the aircraft under maintenance.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The interior comes out well with a light base, color separation of the units and a wash that picks out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
