Responsibility details are not available.
A set of realistic cockpit seat belts for models of the de Havilland Mosquito in its FB Mk.VI fighter bomber version in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory from the Czech maker HGW. The belts are of fine microtextile supplemented by etched metal buckles, so that they faithfully imitate fabric straps including their natural sag and folds.
The Mosquito was a British twin-engine combat aircraft of largely wooden construction, which earned it the nickname the Wooden Wonder. The FB Mk.VI version was a versatile fighter bomber with a crew of pilot and navigator, powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. It proved itself in attacks on ground targets, in night operations and in precision raids.
Shorten the microtextile straps to the length you need, crumple the fabric lightly and smooth it out again, which gives it a realistic shape. Thread them through the etched buckles and glue them to the seat with PVA glue (white glue). Do not use cyanoacrylate, which could harden or mark the textile. The belts are toned in color and resistant to ordinary modeling products, so they can be weathered discreetly.
The accessory does not include the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
