Big Ed is a package in which the Czech manufacturer Eduard gathers several separate refining sets for one model, here the P-51K Mustang fighter in the large 1:32 scale. It therefore covers the interior, the exterior and the masking in one go. It is not an aircraft kit but a collection of accessories to the base plastic model.
The P-51 Mustang is an American single-engine fighter from the period of the Second World War, famous for a long range that let it escort bombers deep over Europe. The P-51K version differed from the widespread D version above all in a propeller from a different maker. In the large 1:32 scale the details of the cockpit and the airframe come into their own, and photo-etch brings them out.
The color and self-adhesive photo-etch for the interior makes detailing the cockpit easier; fit the exterior parts once they are cleaned up. The masking film sharpens up the painting of the canopy and the wheels. Follow the instructions and degrease the photo-etch before painting.
This is a collection of refining accessories, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
