1:32 Paveway II (UK) — two bombs is a resin accessory from ResKit representing the British version of this guided bomb for the stores of an aircraft model. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two laser-guided Paveway II bombs in the British form, in 1:32 scale. This is a resin, or rather 3D-printed, accessory for an aircraft model, intended to be hung on the pylons. It is not a model of an aircraft and not a kit but an armament accessory for finishing a build.
Paveway II belongs among the kits that turn an ordinary unguided aerial bomb into a weapon guided onto a reflected laser beam. The kit consists of a guidance head on the front of the bomb and a tail section with deployable fins; the body of the bomb itself stays standard. The British form differs from the American one in details of the guidance and tail sections, which shows clearly on a model in the large 1:32 scale.
Separate the parts from the casting block with a fine saw and level the cut with a file; on long slender bodies work with support, so that the part does not break. Before painting, wash the whole part in lukewarm water with detergent and let it dry. Sanding is done wet and with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, as cement for plastic does not hold on resin. When fitting them to a pylon, check that both bombs hang symmetrically on the model and along the line of flight — asymmetrical stores show at once on a finished model. Paint over a primer, apply the fine colored bands on the body with a mask or a decal, and leave the surface rather matte, as glossy armament looks unnatural.
The package holds only the parts listed. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
